Luxurious 5-star lodges

Hunters Moon has two 5-star lodges, Desert Star and Hunters Moon. Desert Star is situated in the North of the ranch with views onto the Vanderkloof dam. It has a smaller intimate lodge with four en suite bedrooms.

Ranch Living

Accommodation at Hunters moon consists of 16 luxurious en suite bedrooms.

All have scenic views of endless Karoo landscape and are well equipped with all the modern comforts including electricity, under-floor heating in the bathrooms, separate shower and bath, and private patios, Springbok lapa, dining area and lounge area.

There is a comfortable main lounge and dining room with large fireplaces for the chilly winter evenings. The outdoor reed boma with large central fireplace and fully stocked sleeper-wood bar, is perfect for an evening barbeque under a canopy of stars in the Karoo.  The emphasis at Hunters Moon is on exclusivity with a personal touch. There are numerous options of where to dine such as the boma, lapa area and deck over the Seacow River.

Catering

Traditional South African dishes are served with Venison featuring regularly on
the menu. The emphasis is on good wholesome cooking, and all dinners are
complimented with hand selected vintage South African wines. The management
and staff have a reputation for excellence and will ensure that your every need is
catered for.

Your daily rate covers all beverages and meals. Any special needs will be catered for on request.

Health

The ranch is equipped with first aid kits, however if you have personal allergies or afflictions, we recommend that you bring a sufficient supply of your own medication.
The Karoo is a Malaria free area.
